Hey Kyle,

Thanks for the tips.  I have a few backlinks from Technorati, but I need to re-examine how I'm doing things, based on your instructions.  These backlinks seem to stick!

Great links on the "answer" recommendation.  I need to bookmark those pages.  I've gotten away from that!

Hi Rick, thanks for visiting our blog. Technorati.com is such a powerful tool for driving targeted traffic, but sometimes it can be hard to rank well.

Technorati's blog ranking system works similar to the way Google assigns a website or page authority.

Here's a little tip I picked up on the web. Can't remember where I found this information or I would give credit.

Technorati SEO

If you find a blog that has linked back to you, but the site does not appear in your ranking report, then it's possible that the blog owner didn't ping their published post to Technorati.

You can help this by pinging their blog for them.
Goto http://pingomatic.com/ (fast and free service for faster indexing)
Ping the site that linked back to you and this will help increase your Technorati ranking.

Thanks,
Kyle
